Our Orchard
The orchard is where the cider begins. To walk it in the late fall after harvest is over, smelling the cold crisp air, the damp earth, the apples left behind…dried, sweet, rotting, is to experience a magic of a certain time and place: A fleeting moment, when time stands still, a memory which we hope to capture in a bottle of cider.
Growing apples organically is not all romance and magic though. Mother nature is bounteous, brutal and indifferent.
Cider making begins in the orchard. Read here to learn about the varieties we grow, our horticulture, and our growing philosophy.
